Tompolo: “I’ve Won All My Court Cases, I Was a Victim of Political Witch Hunt:Government Ekpemupolo

 

Former Niger Delta militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has reaffirmed his commitment to justice, due process, and national unity, declaring that he was wrongly accused and politically targeted in past legal battle

Speaking on his long-standing stance against oppression, Tompolo maintained that he has always stood up whenever his people were unjustly treated, regardless of the consequences. According to him, telling the truth often attracts backlash, especially when one is not aligned with those in government.

He emphasized that he followed due process in defending himself against allegations, noting that he has won all court cases instituted against him. He described the charges as “political witch-hunting,” insisting that the judicial outcomes vindicated his position.

Despite the challenges, Tompolo stressed his unwavering loyalty to Nigeria, stating that he has no other country to call his own. He pledged to continue contributing to national development within his capacity.

He further revealed that his group played a key role in maritime and security-related interventions, particularly in matters concerning the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA). According to him, they collaborated with critical stakeholders to trace products allegedly stolen from Nigeria to the United States and other countries, providing vital documents that are currently circulating within government circles.

Tompolo concluded by reiterating his dedication to truth, justice, and the protection of national interests.
