“I like to appreciate you all for coming out in your large numbers to support our party, and I urge you to continue to have this undying spirit that our party, the PDP has. In all our polling units and wards, we have an undying spirit, and we will continue to make sure that we bring infrastructural and human capital development to Bayelsa State.
In Brass, I announced that, before now, we use to give Fifty Million naira every month across all the One Hundred and Five wards, but now, we have increased that money to One Hundred Million Naira. Our people will go into small and medium scale businesses because, we want to have our local economy in our hands. We are doing skill acquisition and building technical schools for our youths, and we are doing all of these for our state to stand tall in the comity of states.
It is “Four over Four” for February and March, beginning with the Presidential election, which is Atiku/Okowa, then Senatorial which is Rt. Hon. Konbowei Benson. The House of Representatives election for the Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency, it is Rodney Ambaiowei, while for Yenagoa/Kolokuma-Opokuma Federal Constituency, it is Hon. Oforji Oboku, and then all our House of Assembly candidates in all Nine State constituencies in the Three Local Government areas that make up the Bayelsa Central Senatorial District.
For Southern Ijaw, Yenagoa and Kolokuma/Opokuma, it is PDP all the way.
I want to use this opportunity again to advise our traditional rulers to be apolitical. Any traditional ruler in whose domain any politician uses gun to chase any other party will be deposed, and the youth body of that place will be derecognized.” he said.
