Recently, tragedy struck when six members of the Barrister Smooth Music Band, including Niger Delta Highlife Queen Ikesima Brown, lost their lives in a car accident on their way to a performance in Abuja. Thankfully, some of the band members survived the crash, including Ebisine Awiki, a talented guitarist in the group.
Today, Awiki is thanking God for sparing his life and for Bayelsa State Governor Sen. Douye Diri’s support. The governor took it upon himself to cover the medical expenses of the accident survivors, which Awiki expressed gratitude for in a heartfelt musical tribute.
