(Dr.) Godknows Boladei Igali, the Ibetariowei of Ijaw land, was proudly inaugurated as the first Vice President of the esteemed Academy of International Affairs, Nigeria. This prestigious appointment comes as a recognition of Dr. Igali’s exceptional knowledge and vast experience in the fields of global affairs, foreign relations, diplomacy, and matters of security and global geopolitics.
The Academy, a renowned private think tank led by former Foreign Minister, Prof. Bolaji Akinyemi, serves as a platform that unites Nigeria’s brightest minds and the most experienced individuals in the aforementioned disciplines. It endeavors to contribute to society through its non-profit status and the collaborative efforts of dedicated volunteers.
Amb. Igali’s unanimous nomination and subsequent election to this esteemed position is a testament to his outstanding contributions in the field over the course of his career. As the first Vice President of the Academy of International Affairs, he will play a crucial role in guiding the organization towards the pursuit of advancements and excellence in various aspects of global affairs.
