The remains of Mrs. Ebimiere Asii Tangbei have been laid to rest in her hometown of Aduku, Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, amid a solemn yet celebratory atmosphere marked by praise worship and traditional cannon gun salutes befitting a woman of great substance and honour.

Family members, friends, church leaders, community elders, and well-wishers gathered to celebrate the life and legacy of the late matriarch, whose passing marked the end of an era defined by faith, service, and unwavering devotion to family and community.
Mama Ebimiere Asii Tangbei was born on November 18, 1935, in Abari, a humble community that shaped her values and worldview. She lived a fulfilled life of 89 years, distinguished by resilience, compassion, and deep Christian faith.
A devoted wife, loving mother to seven children, proud grandmother, and cherished great-grandmother, Mama Ebimiere was widely respected for instilling strong moral values in her family. She raised her children to embrace humility, kindness, respect for others, and total dependence on God.

She passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire those whose lives she touched. Her life, according to family members, was firmly rooted in prayer, and she constantly reminded everyone that no challenge was beyond God’s power.
Growing up in Abari, Mama Ebimiere was known for her open-door policy. Neighbours, friends, and relatives alike found comfort in her warm heart, wise counsel, and generous spirit. From a young age, she assisted her parents both at home and on the farm, demonstrating diligence and commitment that followed her throughout her life.
Although her formal education was limited, her wisdom was profound. Through consistent church attendance and Sunday school, she learned to read and write, developing a deep love for the Bible. Reading the Scriptures became her greatest joy and source of daily strength.




Within the community, she was more than a mother figure. She was a counselor, peacemaker, prayer warrior, and role model. Her cooking was legendary, and her home was a place of nourishment—both physical and spiritual. Mama Ebimiere lived by example, teaching that true strength lies in humility, true wealth in giving, and true faith in total trust in God.
She is survived by children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, uncles, brothers, cousins, and numerous relatives too many to mention.




As the curtain falls on her earthly journey, Mama Ebimiere Asii Tangbei will be remembered not just for the years she lived, but for the lives she shaped, the prayers she offered, and the enduring legacy of faith and love she left behind.
