Last month, Lukashenko brokered a deal that ended an armed mutiny in Russia, with the president later revealing that Prigozhin had arrived in Belarus as part of the agreement.

However, on Thursday, Lukashenko told reporters that Prigozhin had since left Belarus and was now in St Petersburg or Moscow. Lukashenko also said that the question of whether Wagner’s units would relocate to Belarus had not yet been resolved.
