A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Bayelsa State, Mr. Maxwell Gabriel Morris, has urged the Federal Government of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to establish additional Military Barracks in each of the six geo-political zones to enhance security in Nigeria.

Mr. Morris made this plea during a press conference at the NUJ Press Centre in Yenagoa, expressing his concerns over the rising incidents of kidnappings in the country.
As a United Nations and Northern Development Peace Ambassador, Mr. Maxwell emphasized the need for heightened security measures on key roads such as the Lokoja-Abuja Road, Kaduna-Abuja Road, Abuja-Kano Road, Benin-Lagos Road, Lagos-Ibadan Road, Kaduna-Katsina Road, Uyo-Calabar Road, East/West Road, and Enugu-Anambra Road.
He commended President Ahmed Bola Tinubu for his efforts in addressing Nigeria’s economic challenges and applauded the Military for their ongoing fight against terrorism and banditry.
