As a body that represents the interests of the South-South citizens, PANDEF reaffirmed its dedication to pursuing peace and stability in the region. The forum aims to foster constructive dialogue with the Federal Government to address the situation in Rivers State.

For clarity, my earlier directives were triggered by the unlawful “inauguration” of a parallel Ward Executive Committee for Ogbia Ward 9 by the State Working Committee, following the refusal of the authentic WEC to suspend me from the Party without justification. Such actions contradict the democratic values that Governor Diri upholds. I doubt that he would endorse such illegality, leading to my decision to withdraw my prior directives.
