Hon. Rodney Ambaiowei
The newly sworn-in Honourable member of the House of Representatives for Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency Engr. Rodney Ambaiowei has expressed appreciation to the good people of Southern Ijaw for their support. He reaffirmed his commitment to providing his constituents through a more effective representation.
While speaking with the press, shortly after his inauguration ceremony in Abuja, Hon. Ambaiowei said that he’s grateful to the Southern Ijaw people for choosing him and promised to uphold their honor.
The Amassoma-born lawmaker also assured the people of more developmental projects as he assumes office as their representative.
Hon. Engr. Rodney emphasized the need for unity and cooperation among the people of Southern Ijaw, as he believes that this is the only way to achieve sustainable development in the region. He urged his constituents to support him in his quest to bring about positive change in the area.
“Let me take this opportunity to express my gratitude to our leader and governor of our dear state, His Excellency, Sen. Douye Diri, the state working committee of our great party PDP, leaders, elders, women, and youths from our federal constituency and Bayelsa state who came to celebrate with me on the occasion of my inauguration into the 10th National Assembly.
“I promise not to let you down as a result of your trust and faith in me to speak for you on your behalf in the Green Chamber”, he said.
In conclusion, Hon. Engr. Rodney Ambaiowei thanked the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and all those who supported him during the election, promising to work tirelessly to justify the confidence reposed in him.
