A Bayelsa State government aide, Ere Robinson Erebi, has congratulated the newly appointed Deputy Governor of the state, describing his elevation as both timely and divinely inspired.

Erebi, who serves as Technical Assistant to the Governor on Special Duties, expressed delight over the appointment in a congratulatory message addressed to the new deputy governor.
According to him, the announcement of Akpe’s appointment brought “great joy and excitement,” noting that it came as welcome news to many within the state who had long prayed for capable leadership at this critical stage of Bayelsa’s development.
“I received the news of your appointment as Deputy Governor by our promise-keeping Governor with great joy and excitement. It came to me like sweet melody, and I consider it a divine blessing,” Erebi said.
He noted that Akpe’s political trajectory and service record—particularly his role as Chief of Staff in the state government—demonstrate the qualities required to strengthen governance and support the administration of Governor.
“Your exemplary political leadership and outstanding performance in previous administrations, especially in your immediate past role as Chief of Staff, speak volumes about your humility, loyalty, competence, and capacity,” Erebi stated.
The governor’s aide expressed confidence that Akpe would effectively support the administration and contribute meaningfully to the progress of the state.
He also offered prayers for divine guidance and protection for the new deputy governor as he assumes the responsibilities of office.
“I pray that Almighty God, who has positioned you for this responsibility, will grant you divine protection, wisdom and strength to meet the expectations of Bayelsans and to enjoy a successful and impactful tenure,” he added.
Erebi further wished Akpe a successful tenure, expressing optimism that his leadership would help advance development and strengthen governance in Bayelsa State.
