*Dedicates award to Bayelsans
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, last night alongside other awardees in Lagos received an award on Good Governance at the 13th edition of Vanguard Personality of the Year Award.
Governor Diri appreciated the management of Vanguard for the honour and dedicated the award to the good people of Bayelsa State, who have stood by him in his giant steps to providing good governance through quality projects delivery.
The Governor was joined by both serving and non-serving members of the National Assembly, the former Deputy Governor of the State, Rtd. Rear Admiral Gboribiogha John Jonah, the Speaker of the State Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abraham Ingobere, and other State Lawmakers, former Managing Director of NDDC, Chief Timi Alaibe, HRM King Bubaraye Dakolo, Chairman, Bayelsa State Traditional Rulers Council, Commissioners, friends and political associates.
According to the Editor of Vanguard Newspapers, Mr. Eze Anaba, “the philosophy of the award is to recognise and celebrate excellence, national pride and service to humanity.”
