The Honourable member representing Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Engr. Rodney Ambaiowei, has declared his full support for Hon. Target Segibo and Dr. (Mrs.) Josephine Ekeuwei Akandi as Chairman and Vice Chairman candidates for the upcoming local government elections on April 6, 2024.

Hon. Rodney made the declaration while delivering a goodwill message at the PDP Grand Finale campaigns in Oporoma headquarters of Southern Ijaw Local Government Area on Wednesday.
He expressed confidence in the duo’s ability to lead Southern Ijaw Local Government Council, and commended Bayelsa Governor Sen. Douye Diri as well as the PDP leadership for their recognition of Hon. Target Segibo’s potential to lead the Council.
Hon. Ambaiowei urged the good people of Southern Ijaw to support and work towards the victory of Hon. Target Segibo as Chairmanship Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Predictably, the Hon. member representing Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency also extended congratulations to Hon. Target Segibo, the PDP flag bearer, and his Vice Dr. (Mrs.) Josephine Ekeuwei Akandi as well as the 17 Ward Councillorship Candidates of the PDP in advance of their victory, come Saturday, April 6, 2024.
