Since his inauguration in the House of Representatives on June 13, 2023, Hon. Ambaiowei has gone above and beyond expectations, surpassing the accomplishments of his predecessors within just one year in office. It is clear that his dedication and commitment to his constituents are unwavering.
One of the standout achievements of Hon. Ambaiowei’s first year in office has been his sponsorship of several important bills. These include the bills addressing the need to tackle the menace of boat and watercraft mishaps on our coastlines and waterways, the urgent need to contain oil spillage from offshore facilities around Southern Ijaw coastal communities to prevent environmental damage, and the completion of the Amassoma community shoreline protection project. Additionally, he has played a crucial role in the establishment of the Federal College of Education in Oporoma, the Federal College of Nursing and Midwifery in Amassoma, and the Federal College of Health and Sciences in Enewari. These accomplishments are truly unprecedented and showcase his dedication to the betterment of his constituency.
Not only has Hon. Ambaiowei excelled in his role as a legislator, but he has also made a significant impact in empowering his constituents at various levels. Through academic and economic empowerment programs, he has provided opportunities for growth and development, ensuring that his constituents have the tools and resources they need to thrive.
As we celebrate Hon. Rodney Ebikebina Ambaiowei’s successful first year in office, we extend our prayers for Almighty God to grant him more wisdom and good health as he continues to serve the people of Southern Ijaw through successive terms. His accomplishments thus far are a testament to his dedication representation and commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of his constituents.
