Miss Mmesoma Ejikeme, who was embroiled in a controversy over the highest score in this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), has been banned by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for three years.

She has been accused of engaging in a criminal act and of altering a result obtained by another candidate in the 2021 UTME.
JAMB’s spokesperson, Dr. Benjamin Fabian, said that there was no hacking into the board’s facility and that results are secure.
In a Facebook post, Ejikeme denied any wrongdoing.
