The purpose of the meeting was to collaborate on a green census initiative that would ensure the upcoming Population and Housing Census is climate responsive.
The partnership aims to capture climate-relevant quantitative information at household levels to provide primary data on the impacts of climate change on Nigerian households, and vice versa.
This is a significant step in ensuring that climate change is taken into account as part of the census process.
