The member representing Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. Engr. Rodney Ebikebina Ambaiowei, has announced the successful implementation of a Livelihood Empowerment Programme, aimed at supporting grassroots development and economic self-reliance.

Under the initiative, motorcycles were distributed to non-governmental organizations (NGOs), youth groups, and community associations in partnership with the Office of the Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Sharing the development on his verified Facebook page, Hon. Ambaiowei expressed delight over the milestone, describing it as the beginning of several projects designed to foster economic growth and sustainable development across Southern Ijaw.
“This is just the start of many initiatives aimed at promoting economic growth and sustainable development,” he stated.

The federal lawmaker also extended appreciation to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, and the Governor of Bayelsa State, His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, for their continued support and partnership in advancing the welfare of the people.
