The Southern Ijaw Chiefs and Elders Forum, on Saturday, paid a courtesy visit to the Member representing Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. Engr. Rodney Ebikebina Ambaiowei, and the Senator representing Bayelsa Central Senatorial District, Sen. Konbowei Friday Benson, in appreciation of their commitment to the people of Southern Ijaw.

The visit provided an opportunity for the Forum to interact with the lawmakers, commend their efforts, and reaffirm its support for their initiatives at the National Assembly.
A highlight of the occasion was the conferment of patronage on Sen. Konbowei Friday Benson and Hon. Engr. Rodney Ebikebina Ambaiowei as Patrons of the Forum. The lawmakers were also presented with gift items in recognition of their service.
In his response, Hon. Engr. Rodney Ambaiowei expressed gratitude for the honour and reiterated his unwavering commitment to serving the people of Southern Ijaw with diligence, integrity, and dedication.
