She admitted that at times, she even felt like her team was obstructing these opportunities, but she decided to trust their judgment and let them handle things.
And now, after a wait of seven years, her dream has finally materialized. As she graced the stage at AFCON, she felt incredibly honored and blessed. She acknowledges that this is just the beginning, and she is grateful to her team and supporters for making this moment possible.
The ceremony took place at the prestigious Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan, which also hosted the opening match between the Les Elephants of Ivory Coast and Guinea Bissau, a team that has participated in the tournament three times. The energetic atmosphere in the stadium set the tone for an exciting tournament ahead.
