Dr. Iluma commended the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, praising his “peaceful, decisive, and visionary leadership,” which he said has contributed significantly to development, welfare, and infrastructural growth in the state.
“I am deeply grateful to the Peoples Democratic Party for the privilege to serve as a member, and I will always value the experiences and relationships gained during my membership,” he stated.

His resignation marks another key political development in Bayelsa as the state’s political landscape continues to evolve ahead of future political engagements.
