The recently concluded Bayelsa State Football Association elections have been met with controversy as the CEO of MoniMichelle Sports Facility Construction Company Ltd, Mr. Ebi Egbe, popularly known as ‘Moni Love’, has faulted the process that produced the re-election of incumbent Barrister Poubeni Ogun as Chairman of the Association.

He further added that it is unacceptable to continue to shortchange people who can bring positive changes to the sport.
Mr. Egbe has also threatened to challenge the results of the polls in court. He believes that the election process was flawed and did not reflect the true will of the people.
Also, he is determined to fight for what he believes is right and hopes that justice will be served.
