A farewell party was held at The Vue Restaurant in Abuja on July 4, 2023, to honor the outgoing Resident Representative of UNFPA in Nigeria, Miss Ulla Elisabeth Mueller.

At the party, Chairman of National PopulationCommission Hon. Nasir Isa Kwarra, fnsa, and other development partners, including members of the NPC team, bid farewell to Miss Mueller.
Miss Mueller worked extensively with the National Population Commission and other organizations to address population and development issues in Nigeria, focusing on areas such as sexual and reproductive health, family planning, reducing maternal and child mortality, women’s empowerment, and gender equality.
She was also a vocal advocate for conducting Nigeria’s next Population and Housing Census to support government planning and accelerate progress towards achieving the SDGs.
The National Population Commission is grateful for Miss Mueller’s dedication and invaluable contributions, and wishes her all the best in her next role.
