During a recent radio show in Yenagoa, the candidate of the APC, former Governor Chief Timipre, failed to convince listeners of his platform and lacked tact.

However, one thing he did do was agree with the majority of Bayelsans that the current Governor, Sen. Douye Diri, has done well in many areas.
When asked about the progress on the three Senatorial roads, he joked that the government had done nothing but then acknowledged the achievements on the Sagbama-Ekeremor road and Yenagoa-Oporoma-Ukubie road.
He also recognized the completion of the Isaac Boro Expressway by the Prosperity Government, but admitted it wasn’t at the pace he had set.
Former Governor Sylva also commended the current administration’s progress in sports.
He confirmed that during his tenure, he had awarded and paid out N10 Billion for the Nembe-Brass road, but sadly, there has been no progress made on that road to this day.
