As part of his ongoing consultations ahead of the 2027 general elections, Ambaiowei recently visited his immediate predecessor, Hon. Preye Oseke, at his residence in Yenagoa on Friday.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the two former and current representatives of the constituency to discuss matters relating to the constituency, the development of Southern Ijaw, and the importance of continued engagement and collaboration among stakeholders.
Ambaiowei also expressed appreciation to Oseke for the warm reception and reaffirmed his commitment to sustained consultations with stakeholders across the constituency.
Oseke previously represented Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives before Ambaiowei succeeded him following the 2023 election. INEC declared Ambaiowei the winner of the supplementary election, with 13,992 votes against Oseke’s 12,992.
