The Southern Ijaw Progressive Forum, a socio-political group in Bayelsa State, has called on political stakeholders, party leaders, and fellow aspirants to support Hon. Engr. Rodney Ebikebina Ambaiowei’s bid to return to the House of Representatives, following his clearance to contest in the upcoming party primaries.

The group made the appeal in Yenagoa during a press briefing, stressing the need for continuity in representation to sustain ongoing development efforts in the constituency.
Hon. Ambaiowei, who has spent nearly four years in the Green Chamber, was recently screened and cleared to participate in the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Assembly primary elections.
His clearance has paved the way for what is expected to be a competitive race, as political actors intensify consultations and strategizing ahead of the polls.
