The page falsely claims to provide updates on upcoming census activities in Nigeria.
The Public Affairs Department of the Commission emphasized that this page has no association with the National Population Commission and all information shared on the page is fraudulent.
In addition, the Commission made it clear that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has not yet confirmed a date for the upcoming Population and Housing Census in Nigeria.
The Commission assures the public that when there is an official date, it will be announced on the national media, as well as our social media platforms and official website.
We urge the public to disregard any misinformation circulating on the “2023 Census ADHOC Staff update” Facebook page. Citizens are advised to get the correct information from the National Population Commission’s official social media platforms and website.
