Hon. Sam Igrubia, a former Chief Whip of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly in a congratulatory message, said, Pastor Peter Akpe’s appointment underscores continuity, reinforces stability, and signals a renewed commitment to purposeful, people-centred leadership under the Prosperity Administration.
Hon. Igrubia stated that Pastor Akpe’s wealth of experience, discipline, and commitment to public service uniquely positions him to contribute meaningfully to governance, policy coordination, and the effective delivery of democratic dividends to the people.
The BYSEMA Chairman, applauded the Governor, Senator Douye Diri for what it described as a dependable choice in partnership that would further strengthen the leadership architecture of the state, adding depth, balance, and renewed momentum to the collective drive toward sustainable development and inclusive governance.
