“The Forum finds alarming the worsening security situation in the country, as evidenced in parts of the country especially Borno, Plateau, Katsina and Edo States. The Forum calls for review and reordering of priorities and strategies, including adopting a bottom-up template that guarantees the sub-nationals to constitute an effective line of defence against security breaches.

Tompolo, speaking through Tantita Security Services’ spokesperson Dr. Paul Bebenimibo, denied any involvement in the matter. He clarified that the surveillance contract and the company he leads have no connection to the oil field in question, which falls under the jurisdiction of Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited (PINL), a firm linked to the Olu of Itsekiri.

With an estimated population of 227.6 million, Nigeria is experiencing one of the fastest population growth rates globally. Kwarra noted that over 70 percent of the population is under 30 years old, necessitating policies that cater to a youthful demographic. This youth bulge represents both a challenge and an opportunity for the nation as it seeks to harness the potential of its young people while promoting their health and well-being across various life stages.
I believe that this government is on the threshold of making history, particularly with the new programmes and projects we have initiated.
