As a Valentine Government preaching love, peace, and unity, we are committed to building a greater, united, and prosperous state.
The atmosphere was charged with the spirit of thanksgiving as the group joyously declared, “Baba God thank you” for all the good things He has done.
“I have been to Saint Jude’s and I am here at the Ijaw National Academy. I am not satisfied with what I have seen.
“For Bayelsa being a marine state, we saw that a Daniel had come to judgment and we took advantage of this to establish a similar ministry in our state.
“As you take on this new responsibility, please be assured of the support and partnership of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum. We look forward to working closely with the Forum in strengthening intergovernmental relations and ensuring that governance continues to positively impact the lives of our people.”
“Exco approved the purchase of gas turbines with a combined capacity of 60 megawatts that will serve Yenagoa and environs.”
His Information Commissioner counterpart added: “Approval was given expressly for the purchase of the turbines. That is to say, hopefully, before the end of this year, Bayelsans will begin to enjoy uninterrupted power supply.
“Your Excellency, your exemplary service continues to inspire confidence and pride in us all. As you assume this new mantle of leadership, I am confident that your tenure will further strengthen the bonds between the South-South states and drive impactful initiatives that will promote economic growth, cultural integration, and sustainable development in the region.”
“Working together, we have all resolved that our region will not fail. We have seen other regions progress while our region remained quiet.”
We believe that cooperation between our countries is key to advancing towards development. Mutual cooperation can be an effective way to overcome underdevelopment.
