…Highlight PDP’s Failures and Mismanagement of State

They emphasized that Senator Monday Okpebholo remains an exceptional leader who will improve the healthcare delivery system, allow the people to determine what types of programs and policies to implement, allocate more resources to impoverished communities, design appropriate institutional management and control mechanisms to ensure that funds are spent effectively, and transform the state from its current economic distress to a more prosperous and economically viable state.
They also urged eligible voters in the state to reject the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party (LP) candidates in the September 21 governorship election.
“The APC governorship candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo, will elevate the standard of living for Edo people. His agenda is centered on various goals. Firstly, he aims to safeguard the lives, property, and rights of Edo people. Secondly, he intends to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the government, improve the state’s civil service, and develop railways. Thirdly, he is committed to improving education, youth development, industry, and commerce.”
The highly intelligent and spirited men and women urged the people of Edo to embrace Okpebholo’s cause as their own.
“Our long-standing nightmare is over. Senator Monday Okpebholo is a man of principles, courage, and an inspiration to the good people of Edo State. His words are precise and resolute, while the other candidates lack dynamism, political skill, wisdom, and experience.”
In a statement issued by the Youth Alliance for Edo Unity and Progress (YAEUP) in Ekpoma, the Director of Mobilization, Dr. Matthew Agbonifo, announced that the youths support the Okpebholo/Idahosa ticket for the September 21, 2024 governorship election.
The statement read, “What is needed at a time like this are honorable and upright men who will promote peace, diligence, commitment, and selfless service to the state.”
“Senator Monday Okpebholo will ensure a comfortable life for the people of Edo State, appoint more youths and women to significant positions, expand the state’s social security system, allocate funds for medical research, hospitals, and urban renewal.”
“Senator Monday Okpebholo is primarily concerned with improving the welfare of Edo people. He will establish a dynamic cabinet, contribute to the growth of the industrial economy, create millions of jobs, construct roads, provide quality housing for the people of Edo, assist the urban and rural poor, and make other internal improvements.”
The statement underscored Okpebholo’s articulate expression, gentlemanly nature, and impeccable character.
In conclusion, the youths highlighted the failures of the PDP and the mismanagement of the state, including widespread poverty, neglect of the economic well-being of the people, misappropriation of the state’s limited resources on fraudulent contracts, and stagnant growth as the key achievements of the current administration in Edo State.
