Embracing New Beginnings in Service to Bayelsa State

As I reflect on my recent promotion from Special Assistant to Technical Assistant under the leadership of His Excellency, Sen. Douye Diri, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude.

This Sunday, as we gather at the Church of God Mission International for the 2024 Convention, I am reminded of the journey that has brought me to this monumental moment in my life.

On behalf of my family, I thank God for His guidance, grace, and the extraordinary opportunities bestowed upon me.

Promoting individuals who are passionate about serving their communities is a testament to the prosperity government of Bayelsa State’s commitment to leadership and excellence. I am both humbled and honored to accept this new role, and I pledge to dedicate my efforts to the betterment of our beloved state and its citizens.

As we come together in worship today, let us take a moment to acknowledge the incredible power of faith and community. It is through our devotion to God that we find strength and renewed purpose—strength to overcome challenges, purpose to serve others, and a vision for a prosperous future for our families and our state.

In my new position, I am motivated to contribute positively to the development of Bayelsa State. I pray that the Almighty continues to bless us with longevity, prosperity, and peace. May our homes be filled with joy and unity, and may we collectively strive for a brighter future for every citizen.

Let us also remember to pray for peace—not only within the confines of our homes but also across the Glory of All Lands and throughout Nigeria. It is with hope and faith that we look forward to a time when harmony reigns, ensuring safety and prosperity for everyone.

As I take on this new responsibility, I am excited to collaborate with my colleagues and the community to advance our shared vision for growth and progress. Together, may we work tirelessly to create opportunities and address the challenges facing our state.

Finally, I express my heartfelt thanks once again to God and to His Excellency, Sen. Douye Diri. Let each day be a step toward making Bayelsa State a beacon of hope, development, and unity.
