Football stakeholders in Bayelsa state are calling on Ebi Egbe, CEO of Monimichelle, to run for the Bayelsa State FA chairmanship position. The group, known as Friends of Bayelsa Football, believes that Egbe has the necessary qualities to elevate the state’s football scene.

In a statement signed by its chairman Binebi Park, Friends of Bayelsa Football expressed their desire for a leader who is passionate about football and Bayelsa State. They believe that Egbe’s charisma, contacts, and expertise in stadium facilities make him the ideal candidate for the position.
Egbe, a FIFA licensed match agent, has his corporate headquarters in Yenagoa, where he has been making a positive impact on the lives of many young people. While it is not yet clear whether Egbe will take up the challenge and pick up the FA form, the stakeholders are hopeful that he will consider their request.
The group emphasized that the era of mediocre leadership in Bayelsa football is over, and they are determined to see the right person take up the mantle. With Egbe’s experience and passion for the sport, they believe that he is the best candidate to lead the Bayelsa State FA to greater heights.
