Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State, along with the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, and other prominent Bayelsans, attended the birthday celebration of His Royal Highness (HRH) Jonathan Coastman Alagba, the Amananaowei of Ikibiri community, at the Pees Hub event center in Yenagoa.

In his remarks, Governor Diri expressed gratitude to the traditional rulers, captains of industry, and all Bayelsans who came out in large numbers to honor the monarch. He emphasized the importance of celebrating our fathers and elders.
“For us as a state, we will continue to celebrate our fathers and our elders, who have raised their children in the right ways so that they will not depart from them,” he stated.

“On behalf of your government and the good people of Bayelsa State, I wish you a happy birthday, daddy.”
“I want to extend my appreciation to all of you who have gathered here today — from the oil and gas industry, the State Government, the Traditional Rulers Council, and everyone who has come to honor our father’s milestone,” Governor Diri added.

Among the dignitaries present were: the Secretary to the Bayelsa State Government, Prof. Nimibofa Ayawei; members of the State Assembly; Executive Council members; the Amayanabo of Twon-Brass and the first military governor of Old Rivers State, King Alfred Diete-Spiff; Chairman of the Traditional Rulers Council, HRM King Bubaraye Dakolo; and other top government officials.
