The Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, Sen. Douye Diri, has inspected ongoing construction work on the new Commissioner’s quarters and that of the State House of Assembly located within the New Yenagoa City, Onopa.

The governor also inspected various internal roads under construction within the New Yenagoa City.
He emphasized the importance of timely completion to ensure that the new Commissioner’s quarters and State House of Assembly are ready for use as soon as possible.
The governor reiterated his commitment to providing quality infrastructure for the people of Bayelsa State, and expressed his satisfaction with the progress made on the projects so far.
He also urged the contractor to maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure that all necessary quality control measures are followed. Governor Diri assured that his administration would continue to closely monitor the ongoing projects to ensure that they are completed to the highest standards.
“I am happy with the progress achieved so far on the construction of the new Commissioner’s quarters and those for the State Lawmakers at the New Yenagoa City. Glad to note that the contractors are on site pushing for the completion of the projects including the different internal roads within the area. We are working towards the completion of the various projects”, he said.
Overall, Governor Diri’s inspection of the ongoing projects demonstrates his dedication to improving infrastructure in Bayelsa State and his commitment to fulfilling his promises to the people.
