Guard Time Information (GTI) Trains Human Rights Activists In Abuja

Guard Time Information (GTI), a renowned organization dedicated to human rights activities, has successfully concluded its Nationwide Human Rights Activists Training Programme in Abuja, Nigeria.

This programme which kickstarts activities of the organization, was carried out in collaboration with the National Human Rights Commission, Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy on publicity and related activities, and Federal Ministry of Women Affairs to combat abuse, molestation, rape, and other attacks on women and female children.

The Nationwide Human Rights Activists Training Programme aims to enhance human rights awareness and education across Nigeria, empower human rights activists to promote and protect citizens’ rights, and foster partnerships with government agencies, including the Nigerian Police Force, to ensure human rights are upheld at all levels in our society.

The organization is also committed to supporting SARC, NAPTIP, Security agencies, Schools and educational centers, amongst others

While speaking to Journalists shortly after the event, Comrade Bibi Oduku, CEO/Chairman of Guard Time Information, urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to prioritize citizens’ care and security. He emphasized the importance of leveraging Nigeria’s talented youth and citizens in various areas of life to drive positive change in Nigeria.

Guard Time Information Human Rights Activists Nationwide currently boasts of over fifty members, including legal practitioners, journalists, correspondents, etc among whom are Barrister Juliana Bako Saleh heading the North-West region, Barrister Stephen Andrew, Barrister Mauza Arafat, Barrister Bitrus Nuwa, Barrister Emeka Kingsley, Barrister Thyma Abiola and Barrister Obadiah Manasseh and others. North Central: Barrister Uresiten Jacob Afeyib, Barrister Kabiru Haruna, Barrister Saeed Muhammad Tukur, Barrrister Ismail Ibrahim and others. North-East: Barrister Julius Okoro, Barrister Goodnews Chima and others. South-West: Barrister Victory Adelaiye Oluwaseyi, Barrister Moses Ishola and others. South-West, Barrister Meibe Damba, Barrister Egboka Chinemlum Damian, Barrister Inyene Ekpe, Barrister Abel Amasowomwan, Barrister Chinedu Osueke, Barrister Confidence. O. O. Agbator and others from South-South with respected human rights activists.

Additionally, GTI have State Coordinators nationwide working together to bring all human rights violators to book in Nigeria with outstanding records of apprehending human rights violators with the help of the Nigerian Police Force.
