Today, I stand before you with a heart full of gratitude and admiration for a man who has made a significant impact on my life and the lives of many others. I come bearing testimony to the incredible achievements and countless lives touched by Hon. Prof. Steve Sinikiem Azaiki, OON, during his tenure as Commissioner, SSG, and Member of the Federal House of Representatives in Nigeria.

First and foremost, let me introduce myself. I am Maxwell Gabriel Morris, hailing from the great Epie and Atissa Kingdom, fondly known as “Oguan.” This close-knit community has been blessed with the presence of Hon. Prof. Steve Sinikiem Azaiki, a man of noble character and unwavering dedication to service.
My personal journey with Hon. Prof. Steve Sinikiem Azaiki began when he generously offered to pay two years of my university education tuition fees under his scholarship scheme. This act of kindness and belief in my potential changed the trajectory of my life. I am forever indebted to him for the opportunities he bestowed upon me.
But his support didn’t stop there. I was also given the privilege of serving as an appointee, a NASS Legislative Aide, to Hon. Prof. Steve Sinikiem Azaiki. This experience allowed me to witness firsthand his tireless efforts in advocating for the needs and aspirations of our community. His unwavering commitment to our collective well-being was inspiring, and his leadership style made a lasting impact on me.
Not only did I benefit individually from his support, but I also had the opportunity to extend a helping hand to others. Hon. Prof. Steve Sinikiem Azaiki’s monthly allowance for me was not only for my personal use but also allowed me to assist those less fortunate. For me, sharing is an integral part of who I am, and I am thankful for the platform that Hon. Prof. Steve Sinikiem Azaiki provided me to make a difference in the lives of others.
Today, as I proudly share my testimony, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Hon. Prof. Steve Sinikiem Azaiki for his selfless dedication to serving our community. His achievements and lives touched during his time in office have left an indelible mark on the Epie and Atissa Kingdom and beyond.
