The nationwide refresher training of the Specialized Work Force for the 2023 Population and Housing Census has successfully concluded in Bayelsa State.

The training included three days of theoretical sessions at the Bayelsa State College of Arts & Science, followed by practical field testing of digital tools in selected sample Enumeration Areas (EAs) in Elebele town, Ogbia Local Government Area.
Dr. Lasisi Raimi, the State Coordinator, and other Training Centre personnel supervised the practical sessions, which were also attended by the trainees.

The successful conclusion of the training is a significant step towards ensuring a successful and accurate 2023 Census, with the use of modern digital tools to enhance data collection and analysis.
