The Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) has congratulated the Chief Executive Officer of Maton Engineering Nigeria Limited, Chief (Engr.) Matthew Tonlagha, on the occasion of his 50th birthday and the public presentation of his book on Sunday, February 8, 2026.

In a congratulatory letter dated January 23, 2026, the National Chairman of PANDEF, Ambassador (Dr.) Godknows Boladei Igali, OON, on behalf of the organisation’s National Executives, described the Golden Jubilee celebration as a moment of gratitude, reflection and thanksgiving.
Dr. Igali noted that the milestone was “no ordinary feat,” attributing Engr. Tonlagha’s journey to divine grace, sound health and steadfast faith. According to him, the celebrant’s life story reflects God’s “unblemished love, grace and faithfulness” over the years.
“We are grateful to God for guarding you so jealously, and preserving your life through thick and thin,” the PANDEF chairman stated. “We praise His exalted name for He has done great things and it is marvelous in our eyes.”
The PANDEF leader further offered prayers for greater accomplishments in the years ahead, expressing confidence that Engr. Tonlagha’s future would be marked by continuous growth and success.
“Our prayer is that the Lord Almighty continue to bless and increase you in all things, and may the years to come usher you into greater horizons beyond the imaginations of men; from strength to strength and successes heaped on successes,” Dr. Igali said.
Quoting Philippians 1:6, the PANDEF chairman reaffirmed his belief in the celebrant’s enduring impact, stating, “Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
He concluded by extending PANDEF’s goodwill and best wishes, while expressing anticipation of joining family, friends and associates to celebrate the engineer and entrepreneur on his special day.
The 50th birthday celebration and book presentation are expected to attract prominent personalities from the Niger Delta, business leaders and well-wishers, in recognition of Engr. Tonlagha’s contributions to engineering, entrepreneurship and community development.
