Construction of the road from NDU 1st Gate to Tantua-Ama
Improving connectivity is crucial for the socio-economic development of any region. The construction of this road will enhance transportation within Amassoma, facilitating easier access to essential services and attracting investment opportunities.
Production of Masterplan for Amassoma
A comprehensive and well-thought-out master plan is the blueprint for sustainable development. The establishment and implementation of a master plan for Amassoma community will foster organized infrastructural growth, increased land value, and optimized resource allocation.
Construction of Drainage
Proper drainage systems are essential in preventing flooding and maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness of a community. The construction of efficient drainage in Amassoma will safeguard the environment and enhance the quality of life for its residents.
Provision of Pipe-borne Water
Access to clean and potable water is a fundamental right. Sen. Douye Diri’s government should ensure the provision of pipe-borne water in Amassoma, contributing to improved health and sanitation standards.
Liaising with NDDC to Complete the Shoreline Project
The shoreline project holds immense potential for generating economic activities such as tourism and fishing. By engaging with the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Sen. Douye Diri’s administration should aim to see the completion of this project as well as the Ogbopina-Ama internal road project, which will unlock opportunities for employment and revenue generation.
Renovation and Quality Equipment of Amassoma General Hospital
Healthcare is a priority for the prosperity government. The renovation and provision of state-of-the-art equipment to the Amassoma General Hospital will enhance the quality of medical services and improve healthcare access for the community and surrounding areas.
Complete Construction of NDU’s New Campus Internal Roads
As the home to the Niger Delta University (NDU), Amassoma has a responsibility to provide optimal infrastructure for the institution. The prosperity government’s commitment to completing the internal roads within NDU’s new campus will enhance the educational environment and improve transportation for students and staff.
Construction of Cemetery
Respecting the departed is an integral part of any community. Recognizing this, Sen. Douye Diri’s government should prioritize the construct of a cemetery, ensuring dignified and proper burials for the people of Amassoma.
Sand Filling of Amassoma Second Phase
By undertaking the sand filling of the second phase of Amassoma, the government would create new land for residential and commercial purposes, fostering urbanization and economic growth.
Construction of Internal Roads
The construction of various internal roads, including Efeke-ama by Tantua Hospital, Oweidei-ama Opposite Jehovah’s Witness, and Oweidei-ama by Innocent Sogo’s House to Tabua Bou, and Ogbopina-Ama NDDC road will provide easier access within the community and connect various important areas.
Construction/Completion of Tantua Road to Ebeni Waterside
Facilitating transportation and improving connectivity to the Ebeni Waterside, this road construction project will open up opportunities for trade and commerce, benefiting both Amassoma and neighboring communities.
Construction of a Modern Market
A modern market serves as a hub for economic activities, improving trade and fostering entrepreneurship. Sen. Douye Diri’s administration should endeavor to construct a modern market in Amassoma, offering a conducive environment for business operations.
Human Capacity Development
Apart from physical infrastructure, the prosperity government should recognize the importance of human capital. By providing high-level political appointments to Amassomites, the administration aims to nurture local talent and empower the community to actively participate in decision-making processes.
