The Okpebholo Change Movement (OCM) has reiterated Senator Monday Okpebholo’s development initiatives for Edo State. In a press release issued in Benin on Monday, the group emphasized the need for a governor with a clear vision, dedication, and focus to effectively manage the state’s economic potential and natural resources. The OCM praised Okpebholo’s leadership qualities and extensive knowledge of the political landscape, highlighting his ability to bring positive change to Edo State.

The group criticized the opposition party’s manifesto as outdated and lacking substance, stating that actions speak louder than words. They asserted that if a ruling party has proven itself to the electorate, it does not need to resort to negative campaigning or empty promises to secure reelection.
The OCM declared that the people of Edo State, including supporters of other political parties, have rallied behind Senator Monday Okpebholo, recognizing him as the candidate who can bring about the necessary change and safeguard the future of the state.
The statement emphasized Okpebholo’s selflessness, care for others, and commitment to rebuilding Edo State. It outlined his plans for inclusive governance, attention to various interests for overall development, and the provision of social and infrastructural amenities throughout the state. The OCM urged the public to invest in Okpebholo’s leadership to promote agricultural prosperity, economic growth, foreign investments, and industrial expansion in Edo State.
Additionally, the group stated that Okpebholo intends to involve the public in government projects and businesses by encouraging investment and share ownership.
