Hon. Engr. Rodney Ambaiowei, member representing Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, joined dignitaries and scholars at the 3rd Annual Memorial Public Lecture in honour of his late uncle, Sir Chief Dr. Abraham Ayebakepreye Amba Ambaiowei, MFR JP.

Sir Chief Dr. Amba Ambaiowei, who passed away on March 6, 2023, at the age of 83, was a renowned nationalist and tireless advocate for minority rights. He played a pivotal role in the struggle that led to the creation of Bayelsa State, leaving behind a legacy of service and commitment to justice.
