As South-South Governors, we support Mr. President’s Tax Reform Bill. However, we also urged him to extend the proposed VAT sharing percentages to other areas of derivation, such as oil and gas.
As the melodies soared through the air, we were reminded of the power of music to bring people together, transcending boundaries and embodying the spirit of togetherness. This is the essence of what we aim to build in Bayelsa—a vibrant entertainment landscape that attracts visitors from near and far.
While we battle to restore public power, our government has commenced a process to develop our own Independent Power Plant through the procurement and installation of new Gas Turbines.
