The traditional wedding of Engr. Ebiakpobowei Felix Collins and Miss Antonia Luckyere Tari took place in Yenagoa and was conducted in full accordance with Ijaw customs. The ceremony drew relatives, friends, and well-wishers who gathered to witness the union and bless the couple.

Speaking to journalists after the event, the groom expressed deep excitement and gratitude.

“Everything was perfect. I’m excited and happy. I know God has given me a wife. The Bible says he that finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord. I believe favour will follow this ceremony. I’m very happy,” he said with joy.

Describing his bride, Engr. Collins added:

“She’s so awesome, very nice, very understanding—everything perfect for me.”

The bride, Miss Anthonia Luckyere Tari, was equally overwhelmed with joy and appreciation.

“I feel happy. I wasn’t expecting the huge turnout, but I thank God for everything. I appreciate everyone for coming, despite their busy schedules. I pray that provision will not cease in their families, in Jesus’ name, Amen.”

The ceremony was marked by cultural elegance, unity, and heartfelt blessings, reinforcing the value of tradition and family bonds in Ijaw society.

We extend our warm congratulations to the newlyweds and wish them a blissful and prosperous married life ahead.
