The member representing Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Engr. Rodney Ambaiowei, held a consultative meeting with political leaders and stakeholders of Southern Ijaw Constituency I — comprising Amassoma, Otuan, and Amatolo communities — drawn from APC Wards 5, 9, 10, and 11, as part of ongoing consultations ahead of his second-term re-election bid.

The meeting, which took place at the residence of Chief Joseph Akedesuo, attracted several notable personalities and party stakeholders from across the constituency.
Speaking during the meeting, Hon. Rodney Ambaiowei appreciated the leaders and people of Amassoma, Otuan, and Amatolo communities for their unwavering support, trust, and solidarity throughout his first term in office. He expressed gratitude for their commitment and assured them that he would not relent in his efforts to provide quality representation and impactful development if re-elected for a second term.
The stakeholders, in their remarks, urged the lawmaker to pay closer attention to the developmental needs of the constituency as he seeks re-election.

They also reaffirmed their support for his second-term ambition, assuring him of their votes and prayers for victory in the forthcoming election.
