Rodney Ambaiowei’s Schoolmate Praises Erebi Over Media Campaign Role

A former university colleague of the member representing Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rodney Ebikebina Ambaiowei, Engr. Benin Eghoromrere, has commended the Chief Executive Officer of Erevision MediaTV, Comrade Robinson Ere Erebi, for his contributions to the lawmaker’s ongoing second-term media and publicity campaign.

Engr. Eghoromrere made the commendation in a WhatsApp message sent to Comrade Erebi, who is a former State Director of the National Population Commission and currently serves as Technical Assistant to the Governor on Special Duties.

The Ofoni-born stakeholder from Sagbama Local Government Area described Erebi’s coordination of the media campaign as impactful and instrumental in projecting the achievements and democratic dividends delivered by Hon. Ambaiowei to constituents of Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency.

According to him, “I wish to appreciate you for the enormous role you are playing for my university bosom friend, Hon. (Engr.) Rodney Ebikebina Ambaiowei, the member representing Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency in the lower chambers, Abuja.”

He further stated that the publicity strategy being championed by Erebi has helped stakeholders and constituents better understand the performance and contributions of the federal lawmaker.

“Your coordination is eminent in the publicity and media aspect of the exercise, allowing stakeholders know the good things and dividends of democracy of Hon. Rodney, which scores him the chances to go back to the House,” he added.

Recalling their university days, Mr. Eghoromrere disclosed that he and Hon. Ambaiowei gained admission into the Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST), Port Harcourt, in the same year and belonged to the same faculty.

“I gained admission into the RSUST, Port Harcourt, same year and faculty with Hon. Rodney Ambaiowei. He was in the Mechanical Engineering Department, while I was in the Computer Engineering Department, Class of 1999. We were good friends. I left the state for some years and returned back,” he said.

He also requested that his goodwill message and best wishes be conveyed to the federal lawmaker as political consultations ahead of the 2027 general elections continue to gather momentum across Bayelsa State.
