A Special Assistant to the Governor on Special Duties Mr. Robinson Ere Erebi has called on all Bayelsans and non-indigenes resident in the State to continue to give unflinching support to the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State His Excellency, Sen. Douye Diri.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Mr. Erebi made the call in an open letter Comrade Alagoa Morris, renowned Environmental Activist, who had followed the sail of the largest developmental project initiated by Sen. Diri in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area, fulfilling the vision of late sage Chief (Sen.) Melford Okilo and commended the Governor for his commitment to developing the state and improving the lives of its people.
In his letter which was posted on his Facebook page, the Special Assistant to the Governor (Special Duties) Mr. Erebi said that
the Angiama – Oporoma Road and Bridges, heading to Otuan, is a legacy project set to transform the remote area by bringing in banks, industries, hospitals, and other commercial activities, boosting the living conditions and prosperity of the local people.
Mr. Robinson Erebi who is also a staunch member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Ward 9 in Southern Ijaw Constituency 1, emphasized that this project, which is in sync with previous administrations, has been praised as a testament to the prosperity agenda of Bayelsa State.
“It’s a universal truth that “continuity is the hallmark” of progressive development in any State. Dubai in the United Arab Emirate and our own Lagos are perfect examples. Also, its a truism that the incumbency carried along, all the projects hitherto uncompleted by previous administrations for reasons of their end of tenure”.
“Such a man is favoured by God and deserve our support through November 11, 2023, by virtue of all that we have seen and heard within the past three and a half years of his prosperous administration of Bayelsa State”.
“Therefore, it is imperative that we continue to give our unflinching support to Gov. Diri. Let us remember that Bayelsa State is not just about one person or one election, but about the qqacollective aspirations of our people. We need a leader who is committed to developing our dear state and improving the lives of our people”, he said.
He urged all Bayelsans and non-indigenes resident in the state to ensure that there’s no stopping for Douye Diri by supporting the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the continued development of the state, stressing that Governor’s initiative highlights the importance of continuity of projects as the hallmark of progressive development in any state.
