Rodney Ebikebina Ambaiowei, has continued his consultations with political stakeholders and community leaders across the constituency as preparations for the 2027 general elections gather momentum.

Ambaiowei, who is seeking another term in the House, paid a courtesy visit to respected political stakeholder and community leader, Mr. Paul Eris, popularly known as Gen. Ogunboss, in Peremabiri, where discussions centred on constituency development, grassroots engagement and the continued strengthening of relationships with community stakeholders.
During the visit, Ambaiowei expressed appreciation to Eris for what he described as his support, encouragement and commitment during his first tenure in office.
The lawmaker also acknowledged the contributions of leaders, stakeholders and residents of Ward 8 to his representation of Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency.
Ambaiowei reiterated his commitment to pursuing impactful, people-oriented constituency projects, stressing that his development agenda is focused on ensuring that communities across the constituency benefit from government interventions and effective representation.
Responding, Mr. Paul Eris (Gen. Ogunboss) expressed appreciation to Ambaiowei for the visit and for recognising the contributions of the people of Peremabiri and Ward 8 during his first tenure.
Eris described the gesture as a demonstration of humility and accessible leadership, maintaining that effective representation is strengthened when elected representatives sustain direct engagement with the people.
He also urged Ambaiowei to continue to prioritise Ward 8 in the distribution of constituency projects and developmental initiatives, emphasising the importance of equitable development across the constituency.
Ambaiowei Meets Former Commissioner Ebitei Francis
In a related development, Ambaiowei also paid a courtesy visit to a former Commissioner, Hon. Engr. Ebitei Francis, at his residence.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the two leaders to exchange views on political and developmental issues affecting Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency, with emphasis on continued stakeholder engagement and the collective pursuit of community development.
The series of consultations comes ahead of the formal campaign period for the 2027 general elections and highlights Ambaiowei’s ongoing engagement with political leaders, community stakeholders and constituents.
Ambaiowei’s return bid follows his emergence as the APC candidate for the Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency seat at the party’s 2026 primaries.
