Bayelsa State Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) has heartily congratulated Governor Douye Diri and his amiable Deputy, Senator Lawrence Ewhrujadkpo on their well deserved victory at the Court of Appeal, Abuja which upheld the Electoral tribunal judgement.

In a congratulatory message signed by Ebiye Ogoli, State Publicity Secretary, PDP remarked that by the judgement, the Appeal Court has affirmed their Excellencies as the true winners of the November 11th, 2023 Gubernatorial elections in the state, Party therefore counsel members to rejoice and remember to return all the glory to God Almighty for his mercies and faithfulness for the great work He has done for the State. Party also assures everyone that the Governor will continually triumph over his detractors because same Hand of Providence which raised him from start is still active in his life and will fight for him unto the very end

It has further proven that you are indeed, the Peoples Governor and that the mandate freely given to you by.citizens of the state cannot be stolen by anyone”.
” And again, we applaud the judiciary for their undoubted consistency and conviction right from the Elections Petitions Tribunal, in upholding truth and fairness; demonstrating that the result scored by our Party PDP was not a fluke but a true reflection of the express will of the people of the state chronicled on the 11th of November, 2023.
Conclusively, having surmounted these legal hurdles, Party sues for continued loyalty and support from citizens even as we give a firm assurance that His Excellency, our dear Governor is now poised, to take on the myriad of challenges staring at us towards placing Bayelsa on the fast lane of accelerated growth and development anchored on his vision of a Shared Prosperity for All.
