Rodney Ambaiowei, the National Assembly representative of Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency, received members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) State Working Committee, who embarked on a solidarity visit to congratulate and celebrate with members of the State and National Assemblies elected on its platform.

The PDP State Working Committee to Hon. Ambaiowei in his Yenagoa residence was aimed at inspiring motivating a more proactive, peaceful, unified, and result-oriented Assembly.
The delegation also reminded the Congressman on the need to continue working in close collaboration with the Executive to ensure that the set goals of the State Government are actualized.
Hon. Solomon Agwana, the State Chairman of PDP, represented by Hon. Gesiye Isowo, the PDP State Secretary, congratulated Hon. Rodney Ambaiowei on his well-deserved electoral victory and subsequent inauguration into the 10th National Assembly.
The Party Secretary also called on the Lawmaker to take a frontline role in mobilizing support for the Governor’s re-election bid.
Engr. Rodney Ambaiowei, in his response, thanked PDP for the opportunity given to him to fly the Party ticket. He pledged to work closely with the Party leadership to bring more dividends of democracy to his constituency.
He also pledged to assume a frontal role in canvassing for votes for the Governor’s re-election bid, stressing that the victory of Sen. Douye Diri is sacrosanct.
