The newly elected President of the Nigerian Amputee Football Federation (NAFF), Prince Opukiri Jones-Ere, has expressed profound gratitude to God Almighty for the successful conduct of the federation’s elections and his emergence as President.

In his post-election remarks, Prince Jones-Ere thanked the Chairman and the Director-General of the National Sports Commission for ensuring a transparent, credible, and level playing field throughout the electoral process.
“I give all glory to God Almighty for this victory and the opportunity to serve Nigerian amputee football. I also sincerely appreciate the leadership of the National Sports Commission for creating an enabling environment that guaranteed a free, fair, and credible election,” he stated.
The newly elected President further extended his heartfelt appreciation to the Government and people of Bayelsa State for their unwavering support. He also conveyed his gratitude to the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Chief Samuel Ogbuku, and the Executive Director, Finance and Administration (EDFA), Alabo Boma Iyayi, for their encouragement and support throughout the electoral process.
Prince Jones-Ere reserved special appreciation for his uncle, Prince Ebitimi Amgbare, acknowledging his steadfast support and guidance.

“As we begin this new chapter, I remain committed to working with all stakeholders to advance amputee football in Nigeria, promote inclusivity, and ensure the growth and development of our federation for the benefit of all athletes and stakeholders,” he added.
Prince Jones-Ere called on members of the amputee football community and all stakeholders to unite in pursuit of a shared vision for the continued progress and success of amputee football in Nigeria.
