A Member of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly Service Commission, Mrs. Aperetari Rose Ogugu, has called on the newly elected Chairman of Southern Ijaw Local Government Area, Hon. Target Segibo, to take stock of previous administrations and prioritize the developmental expectations of the people.

Speaking to Erevision MediaTV in Ogbopina-Ama, Amassoma, Mrs. Ogugu described the recently concluded 2023 Local Government elections as one of the most peaceful ones conducted in recent times.
“The election was free and fair, it has come and gone. And all was well.”
Mrs. Ogugu advised the newly elected Chairman to build upon the accomplishments of previous administrations and strive to do better for the benefit of all stakeholders in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area.
She also extended her congratulations to Hon. Target Segibo and the newly elected Councilors of Southern Ijaw Local Government, expressing high expectations that they would bring prosperity to all Wards in alignment with the goals of Governor Douye Diri’s administration.
