Hon. Engr. Rodney Ebikebina Ambaiowei has become the first member representing Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives to establish a befitting and fully staffed Constituency Office in Oporoma, the headquarters of Southern Ijaw Local Government Area.

Since assuming office, the lawmaker has utilised the constituency office as a platform for governance, empowerment, and community engagement. Within his first two years in the Green Chamber, several workshops, skill acquisition programmes, and empowerment initiatives have been organised for constituents through the office.
The constituency office has continued to serve as a center for administrative coordination, youth development, and people-oriented programmes aimed at improving the welfare of residents across Southern Ijaw.
Political supporters and stakeholders have described the initiative as a major milestone in grassroots representation and democratic inclusiveness within the federal constituency.
As preparations intensify ahead of the APC Primaries, supporters say they are optimistic about more impactful programmes and empowerment opportunities for the people of Southern Ijaw.
